We had our hotel in Secunderabad , and on the last day of our visit in Hyderabad , we started the trip by visiting the Paigah Tombs . We had an overnight train from Kacheguda railway station on the same very day . So from Secunderabad, at first we went to Kacheguda railway station by bus , and kept our luggage at the cloak room.
Somehow I really liked the railway station,it has white washed walls , decorated with indoor plants, comparatively less noisy and crowded and very clean .

Just outside the railway station we got a bus for Koti and from Koti we took another bus to reach Owaisi Hospital . This is the nearest bus stand to reach the Paigah tombs which lies at a distance of around 4 kms from the Charminar .We crossed the main road and walked through a narrow lane for around 5 minutes to reach the Paigah tombs .

The Paigahs are the descendants of the second Caliph of Islam Umar Ibn Al Khattab , who was one of the fathers in law of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad. So from the very beginning they enjoyed a very high social status.

They were  engaged in various social and philanthropic activities, and had their own army, and resided in royal palaces . It is believed they were wealthier than many of the contemporary Rajas and Maharajas of India. They had developed marital relations with the Nizams of Hyderabad.

The famous Falaknama Palace actually belonged to the Paigah family . One of the Nizams was so mesmerized by the royalty and grandeur or the Palace that the Paigahs gifted the Palace to the Nizams . The Nizams however paid a token amount and honoured the generosity of the Paigahs.

The Paigahs had very cordial relations with the Nizams of Hyderabad, who in turn were very close to Aurangzeb. His tomb is open to the sky , and since the Nizams were highly influenced by the Mughal Emperor , they too imitated the same style of burial, and seeing the Nizams the Paigahs too copied the same, open to the sky style in their tombs .

The tombs are beautifully decorated with latticed designs where each and every pattern is different, and so appealing to the eyes . It's a photographer's paradise, and to get the best Instagrammable pic one can definitely try out posing infront of the intricately designed architectural grandeur.

It's built in Indo Islamic architectural style with the predominance of elegant rajput designs  combined with Islamic domes .

Amongst the tombs and chikoo plants, there is a small mosque where the locals come to offer their prayers. It's in a small compound, and very compact .It won't take more than half an hour to soak in the beauty and vibe of this peaceful place.

From there we went to have the famous Hyderabadi  Biryani  and hopped on to an auto rickshaw to go to the iconic Charminar. Our video on Charminar is already uploaded in Travelling Twogether channel, and you can check it out to find beautiful Hyderbadi pearl jewellery at a very reasonable price .
