Sarnath Buddhist Temple

 

.. Not far from the city of light Kashi , Lord Buddha enlightened the world through his DHARMA  CHAKRA PRAVARTANA in Sarnath ..
This is one of the four holiest pilgrimage sites associated with Buddhism along with Lumbini , Bodh Gaya and Kusinagar ..

 


 

The cheapest way to reach Sarnath is by taking an auto from Godowlia to Pandeypura for ₹15 per passenger, and from there taking another auto to Sarnath for the same fare as before..

 


 
Most of the Buddhist temples and monasteries are located close by and everything gets covered up within 4-5 hours comfortably..
However to avoid travel fatigue, tourists reserve an entire auto from Varanasi ..
